Facade panel systems
This set of facade systems with a facade panel coating includes the systems produced by manufacturers such as Trespa, Resopal, Abet, FunderMax and Eternit. All these systems have the same basis, while the differences between individual systems occur in the composition of the external facade panel and the supporting substructure of the latter.
Facade panel installation
The installation of facade panels is executed by attaching the panel to the base (concrete, brick) using a basic substructure. The base substructure may be set up either vertically or horizontally, but is usually installed in a vertical position in order to facilitate a smooth flow of air behind the facade panels, which serves to drain excess moisture and dry it, as well as to remove excess heat.
The base substructure is usually made up of aluminum profiles for all systems, while some systems also use wood. The base substructure is affixed to the surface using special anchoring elements based on permissible loads. The facade panels are fixed to the base substructure with screws, rivets or glue.
Different facade panel designs
The base of all systems in this assembly is a facade panel of different compositions, with the thickness of 6 to 15mm. Facade panels are available in different sizes, depending on the manufacturer, and in different colors.
The facade panel format is always chosen so that, when filling a single facade surface and by taking into account the requirements and wishes of the architect, the maximum efficiency is achieved after processing the panel. This is usually achieved by a combination of different size formats of the facade panel.
Facades made of composite panels or sheet metal
This set of facade systems with a composite facade panel coating or sheet metal facade includes systems produced by manufacturers such as Alcoa, Alucobond, Alucoil and other similar systems available on our market. All of the aforementioned systems of these manufacturers have the same basis, while the differences between individual systems occur in the composition of the external facade panel and the supporting substructure of the latter.
The basis of all systems in this set is a composite facade panel composed of an outer and inner aluminum layer and a polyethylene core or honeycomb of various thicknesses, or aluminum or steel panels in the case of tin facades, which can then be formed in different assemblies. The predominant designs in the solutions that we can provide you are aluminum composite materials Reynobond and Alucobond produced by Alcoa.
Ventilated facades made of composite panels or sheet metal provide extraordinary balance between the best thermal protection of external walls of the building and high-class design requirements of architects and users.
Brick, ceramic or stone facades
Here at MIK , we can offer the design of all types of ventilated facades made of brick, ceramics or stone. The Slovenian market is dominated by a system of facades made of Tonality ceramic bricks which are manufactured by Creaton. Other suppliers are also Argeton, NBK, Faveton, Laminam, Levantina and others.
Facades made of ceramic bricks, ceramics or stone are known for their high resistance to environmental influences and do not require any maintenance after their installation. The coatings can be of different types. They can be affixed visibly or invisibly. With different colors, we can achieve different patterns and color combinations.
