MIK’s path

This is a story about vision, courage and commitment to improving the quality of living, which has lasted for more than 30 years. MIK’s story was born from a company dealing with wholesale of picture-framing materials, which then developed into the leading Slovenian manufacturer and installer of PVC, wooden, wood/ALU and ALU window systems, integrated solutions for the modernization of buildings and the installation of glazing systems in new buildings, ALU and ventilated facade systems, as well as a developer and manufacturer of MIKrovent local ventilation systems.

MIK’s mission, vision and values are the cornerstones, foundations and guidelines on our company’s business path spanning over 3 decades. Here at MIK, we constantly strive to achieve our key mission: “to improve the quality of living” in the rooms and buildings into which we install our builders’ joinery and ventilation systems that are characterized by Slovenian knowledge, development, our own production and high-quality technological solutions.

We firmly believe that the environment in which we create, develop, manufacture, operate and employ is a key factor in the successful path of our company. This is why, since the very beginning, we have been committed to giving back to the environment in which MIK’s story has been created for over 30 years. The central topic of our socially responsible behavior is educating the public on the traps of modern living and informing them of the ways in which we can improve the quality of living and live healthy lives. Our biggest concern is helping socially less advantaged people, supporting club sports in Slovenia and dealing with fine arts.

The employees at MIK are members of a large family with 200 employees, experts in the field of development, manufacturing and installation of builders’ joinery and ventilation systems, who are also joined by over 100 contractual workers.
